Explanations with an evidence trail
Health Atlas brings topic explanations, attributed sources, and visible uncertainty into the same reading experience. Search and subject navigation provide different ways into a topic; related reading and a topic map show where it connects to the wider collection.
Start with understanding
A topic page gives the reader a plain-language explanation before going deeper. Source links, evidence notes, and questions to consider remain close to the material they explain. The aim is to make the idea understandable and its supporting evidence inspectable.
Editorial decisions matter
The project treats source review and topic coverage as ongoing work. Scope and review information help readers understand the boundaries of an explanation. New topics need to add useful coverage, while related subjects help avoid treating each health question as an isolated fact.
What the interface is for
Health Atlas is a way to explore health information and the evidence behind it. The design makes room for uncertainty and further reading rather than presenting every explanation as a settled conclusion. It is not a clinical diagnosis tool or personalized medical advice.
